Baraboo Dreaming
Ever heard of California Dreaming? Well, thus family chooses Lake Delton/Baraboo Dreaming instead. Even though one of our staples, the International Crane Foundation, is closed for a complete renovation, we still found plenty to do.
Duck feeding at our condo is a must.
We also loved Mirror Lake State Park.
We visited Echo Rock again but spent most of our time on a new trail to us, the Ishnala Trail.
Embry of course found a new favorite rock.
We also enjoyed Parfrey's Glen, especially bopping blaze of the Ice Age Trail which runs right through.
Embry just finished two weeks of drama camp. Can't you tell?
Besides loving nature this family are also history enthusiasts so a visit to Circus World Museum was in order.
This only scratches the surface of what we normally do in the area. We didn't even mention the arboretum, railroad museum, Lake of the Wisconsin Dells, Rocky Arbor, Devil's Lake, Natural Bridge State Park, Riverwalk, Downtown Dells, Pewit's Nest, Ochsner Zoo, and of course, Pizza Ranch.
Until next time. . .
